104E: First floor rental penetrating damp or condensation

First floor Victorian flat appears to have penetrating damp, but it may just be condensation. Ask tenants to send data back from dataloggers.

Few surveyors are familiarly with interstitial condensation. Where condensation forms in a wall: here around a cold RSJ.

Insulation is not alternative to ventilation. Bungalows are vulnerable to condensation & mould because of the increased external surface area
